Frequenty Asked Questions

This 45-minute session is a space for us to connect, explore what’s bringing you here, and get a feel for what it might be like to work together.

It’s not a full coaching session, but you’ll have the opportunity to share a topic or area of your life you’d like to focus on, and I’ll guide you through a short, light-touch coaching experience.

You’ll leave with a clearer sense of whether this kind of work — and this coaching relationship — feels like the right fit for your inside journey.

Completely. It’s very common to feel nervous before your first session — especially if you’ve never been coached before.

You might wonder if your topic is too small, too messy, or too emotional. I want you to know: if it matters to you, it matters to me.

Coaching can stir up emotions as we begin to explore parts of ourselves that have long been quiet. All of you is welcome here — your hopes, your fears, your questions, and your feelings. You’re safe with me.

Absolutely. I am an ICF-credentialed coach, which means I adhere to the International Coaching Federation’s strict Code of Ethics, including confidentiality.

Everything you share stays between us, unless there is a legal or safety-related exception (e.g., risk of harm to self or others, or a valid court order). You always decide what, if anything, you want to share beyond our sessions.

In coaching, I don’t give advice or tell you what to do. Instead, I create a space for reflection, deep listening, and powerful questions that help you access your own wisdom.

Coaching is not about passing down knowledge — it’s about helping you uncover what’s already within you, even the parts you didn’t know were there. It’s a creative, thought-provoking process designed to help you grow into the life, leadership, and relationships you truly want.

Mentoring, on the other hand, is guidance based on someone else’s knowledge and experience. A mentor may share advice or expertise in a specific domain. Both coaching and mentoring are valuable — they just serve different purposes.

Coaching is not therapy — but it can feel deeply therapeutic.

While therapy often focuses on healing past trauma and diagnosis, coaching is future-oriented and centers on where you are now and where you want to go. That said, I am a trauma-informed coach, certified in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), and trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches support deeper emotional safety, self-understanding, and internal integration.

I do not treat or diagnose mental health conditions, but I do work with the whole person — including your inner patterns, protective parts, and emotional landscape — in a way that feels grounding, respectful, and empowering.

We’ll explore together during the complimentary session whether coaching is the right support for you at this moment.
